If you combine practical mechanical skills with low voltage electrical experience, this position offers you some compelling opportunities. In this role you will:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Assembler at our Ocala, FL facility you will fit and assemble components for relatively large or heavy subassemblies by following assembly blueprints, manuals, engineering memos, sketches, and knowledge of machine construction to construct, rebuild, and repair machines and equipment.

You'll spend the majority of your time building dryers using drawings. You will read tape measures, thread and cut pipes, use hand tools, and pull pipe wrenches that can be 3 feet long in a heavy assembly environment. You should also be able to lift 40 lbs.

We're hiring for a day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the possibility of OT.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Regularly required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move objects. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

    Facility conditions are in line with SPX Flow EHS regulations and country legislative safety requirements with regards to safe walkways, shelving and general working areas.
