This job calls for a special kind of person: The environment is temperature controlled, but you will need the stamina to stand for 12 hours shifts working with hot, molten metal. The job involves producing metal castings and continuous cast bar stock from molten metals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES You will work four 12-hour shifts a week, either 12 noon to 8 PM or 4 PM to 4 AM.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required: Preferred: PHYSICAL DEMANDS WORKING CONDITIONS

Foundry conditions are in line with SPX Flow EHS regulations and country legislative safety requirements with regards to safe walkways, shelving and general working areas. Due to the nature of the shop environment, temperatures can range depending on seasonal conditions. An air-conditioned office is available within the warehouse to reduce discomfort. Cleanliness is of paramount importance to SPX Flow however from time to time, dust and general packing materials may accumulate. Noise can often be at levels that require hearing protection due to vehicle movements and general day to day activities in the nearby workshop. All PPE is provided for by the company.
