PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will lead the implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. This will include evaluating all continuous improvement activities and implementing plans to optimize performance and processes; coaching and deploying Lean methodologies, concepts and tools in order to accomplish business objectives; and leading VSM, Kaizen and problem-solving activities. We are a low volume/high mix, engineer-to-order operation.

More specifically, you will: In addition, you may specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements.  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

You also will need to be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
